Elbow Pain Relief in Nampa

ElbowWhether it started on the course, in the gym, or at your desk, elbow pain has a habit of showing up in the same place. Any time you grip, pull, or rotate, it reminds you something isn’t quite right.

At True North Chiropractic and Wellness, we help patients get to the root cause of elbow pain so they can move confidently again, without relying on medication or waiting for it to get worse.

What’s Really Going on With Your Elbow

Elbow pain is often traced back to irritation where the forearm muscles attach to the joint. Repetitive stress from a sport, a job, or daily tasks gradually causes inflammation, weakness, and pain. Common diagnoses include tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis), golfer’s elbow (medial epicondylitis), tendinopathy, ligament sprains, joint misalignment, and nerve irritation.

You don’t have to be an athlete to develop an elbow problem though. We see this kind of pain in golfers and baseball players, CrossFit athletes, construction workers and mechanics, office workers with repetitive strain, and parents who spend their days lifting kids.

Why Golfers Struggle and How We Can Help

Golf is one of the most common sports associated with elbow pain. The repetitive swinging motion places significant stress on both the inner and outer elbow, and even small inefficiencies in mechanics can overload the joint over time.

Dr. Zach Reidinger is Level 2 Medical Certified through the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), a prestigious organization that studies the relationship between the body and the golf swing. This training allows him to analyze movement patterns, identify physical limitations, and help golfers improve performance while reducing injury risk.

“Golfers often think their elbow is the problem,” says Dr. Zach. “But many times, it’s limited hip rotation, poor shoulder stability, or spinal misalignment that’s forcing extra stress into the elbow.” Because of his TPI background, he evaluates the entire kinetic chain, from the feet to the spine, to find where the breakdown is really happening.

A Full-Body Approach to Elbow Care

Our chiropractor is also IBEC certified in advanced extremity adjusting, meaning he has specialized training in treating joints beyond the spine, including elbows, shoulders, wrists, knees, and ankles.

The care we provide is built around three core pillars: specific Gonstead spinal adjustments, functional movement correction, and nutritional guidance. Depending on your situation, your plan may also include advanced extremity adjusting for the elbow, shockwave therapy to stimulate tissue healing, massage therapy to reduce muscle tension, and movement retraining to correct faulty patterns.

Rather than masking symptoms, we address what’s actually driving them.

What to Expect

Your first visit includes a thorough consultation, full-spine X-rays, muscle testing, and weight distribution analysis. We take the time to understand exactly what’s happening before making any corrections. From there, we build a care plan designed to restore proper alignment, improve function, and support natural healing.
